Verizon has announced cloud computing services for small and medium businesses called SMBs companies with under 1,000 employees in the US, additional cloud services for companies Verizon launched major global recovery in 2009. CAAS Services (e-accounting-as-a-service-service) for SMB will be priced starting at 3.7 cents per hour to use a virtual server with limited storage and RAM, Patrick Sullivan, director of middleware products at business unit of Verizon stated.

Service based on utilization can be guaranteed with a credit card after an online enrollment process short. There is no minimum commitment, Mr. Sullivan said. SMB services are placed on servers by Verizon's partners Terremark control, while business services previously announced data center located in Verizon's, Mr. Sullivan said. Using server Terremark has assisted bring services to market faster. Mr. Sullivan stated, Verizon hopes their prices will be very competitive compared with many other vendors in the SMB space for cloud computing, including Amazon and Rackspace.
