Adobe has released an update to fix 23 vulnerabilities in Adobe Reader and Acrobat on different platforms which could allow an attacker to run code with the permissions under which the affected application is launched.

Announced vulnerabilities reside in 23 different problems most of them critical residing in memory corruption imaging and treatment of entries that can lead to arbitrary code execution.
