Last week we spelt about some comments that had been filtering lately aboutAMD's upcoming 6000 series of video cards . AMD has now affirmed that the cards' functionary names are the Radeon HD 6870 and Radeon HD 6850 and has issued photos of mention editions of both cards.

The photos also express that the 6870 will require two six-pin power connectors and that the 6850 will want only one.

Per AMD's distinctive naming scheme for video cards the 6870 will present the higher-performance element when the 6850 will be a bit more humble in conditions of both power and price. AMD has not yet formally affirmed any extra descriptions or information about the cards.
