Adobe has released a security update intended to fix a critical vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player version for Windows Macintosh Linux and Solaris and Adobe Flash Player for Android. The vulnerability also affects Adobe Reader for Windows Macintosh and UNIX and Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 for Windows and Macintosh.

The vulnerability CVE-2010-2884 could bring down the system and potentially allow an attacker to take control of affected systems. The problem of which no details were provided can allow remote execution of arbitrary code to address Multimedia Flash content or content within PDF documents.
