The British Information Commissioner (ICO), the privacy watchdog of the people, Google will investigate after the company admitted having copied software codes and post to take photographs for its Street View. This is what the British press reports, said that the committee conducted the investigation following a report in Canada that the company allegedly violated the privacy of thousands of Canadians, while similar cases occurring in other countries.
An ICO spokesman said it will evaluate all private information collected by Google in the UK before deciding on measures to be taken. Google acknowledged the problem after the Privacy Commissioner of Canada discovered that the company had captured sensitive personal information with visual street.
Concerns about this situation arose in May when the company said that this activity was fragmentary. In a statement, Google, based in California, agreed that in some cases complete emails and their codes had been collected, but his deputy, Alan Eustace, promised to erase this information as soon as possible.
