Over seventy technology companies and others will showcase their products, results and open source technologies in the service of all economic sectors in an international meeting to be held in the Exhibition and Congress Centre of Malaga on Thursday.
The "Free Software World Conference" organized by the National Federation of Free Software Companies (ASOLIF) and the Association of Free Software AndaLibre in collaboration with Manchester City Council, announced today in a statement Consistory. Both associations represent over two hundred technology companies in Spain , between public and private entities, and those belonging to expose their ASOLIF offer free software to businesses, professionals and users interested in this branch of computer science.
Also on Thursday October 28 the Federation held a national internal event, the IV ASOLIF Free Software Business, which will bring together about seventy companies to develop collaborative projects. Free software is interesting for companies because it eliminates license fees and important restrictions on traditional proprietary software and its cost is limited to services received, which also tend to be equivalent or less, includes the statement.
