The Internet platform unveiling Wikileaks has been estimated by the Pentagon may be more U.S. military document than previously known. Wikileaks had admitted possession of 15,000 files and a video of the war in Afghanistan, said Defense Ministry spokesman, Colonel David Lapan. "And we have reason to believe that they have other documents," he said Tuesday, according to the CNN. On the weekend Wikileaks had placed nearly 400,000 U.S. documents about the Iraq war to the Internet.

The Iraqi documents point to massive war crimes committed by the Iraqi security forces on civilians: executions, torture and other ill-treatment. But they also suggest that U.S. troops knew of the atrocities.
According to Lapan there on the Wikileaks page a link to download a large, encrypted file called "insurance" (insurance), the user. "We're not sure what is in the insurance file," he told the Wall Street Journal. "We believe we know part of what they have."
