After the charge of Oracle that led Google to court in August, the company has recently stated that the uproar that Davlik code, the virtual machine of Google, has been copied by some heavily protected Java API. At the moment it is unclear whether the allegations have a basis of Oracle. The legal authorities should know whether in fact the same lines of code are coincidences, conventions used in programming languages, or knowingly copied material. In the case of a genuine copy of Google is in trouble.

Oracle was not able to put on the plate of the charges based on objective data, but now there are lines and lines of code to the scrutiny of investigators. Google at present has not yet released official statements. To further complicate the charade, however, has added another actor: Apache Harmony. The code of Google is in fact similar to the Apache project, which could lead to the belief that Harmony was inspired by Oracle for its codes. In this way, Apache would prove guilty of having plagiarized as Google's Java Oracle, but this would cause a collapse of much more serious dimensions. Queued to disagreements between the various companies is also important to remember Android, recently accused of having misused by Gemalto Java code.
