Internet Explorer back in the spotlight of security. The Security Advisory 2458511 reports a new vulnerability in the Web browser from Microsoft that affects versions from 6 up to the release 8. The bug could allow the execution of potentially malicious code. Microsoft has some 'minimized the problem by knowing that at the moment "is aware of limited attacks, especially directed to IE6, which have used this vulnerability, but were immediately neutralized without having caused any damage.

It' very remote the possibility that they can be completed malicious attacks from the Internet Explorer 8, thanks to the protection offered by the DEP enabled natively on all versions of Windows. Will not be issued until a corrective patch, Microsoft recommends that users of Internet Explorer (particularly for holders of IE6 and IE7) to apply some workaround, described and recommended in Microsoft Security Advisory
