Trend Micro has released tools to help administrators can scan (scan) a dozen computers at a time to find the malware Stuxnet. Stuxnet a malicious program (malware) has aroused widespread concern because its target is the Windows PC running Win CC SCADA systems (supervisory control and data acquisition) of Siemens, is used in the industrial production processes. The security products, Trend Micro will detect Stuxnet, but the company decided to build a tool for those who do not use the product their discovery of malware, researcher David Sancho Trend Micro said.
Administrators may also want to run the tool to verify that their security software actually detects and removes Stuxnet. Stuxnet tool can scan all the computers in a range of IP (Internet Protocol) specific. To find out the malware, the tool will begin forging packets similar to packets by the second or third variant Stuxnet sent. If Stuxnet present, it will react with fake packets. Many months after Stuxnet was discovered, Trend Micro found that it is still widespread, especially on computers in areas where the use rate low security software, Mr. Sancho said.
