A metropolis, N.J.-based software firmly that settled an H-1B case contributed against it by the U.S. section of Labor told Computerworldthis hebdomad that it has set a goal of employing U.S. workers for all of its domesticated positions.

Under a colony with the Labor Department exposed last week, Peri Software answers Inc. agreed to pay about $638,000 in back pays to 67 H-1B workers.

The company said that its plan to gain reliance on U.S. proletarians isn't the result of the colony, but was set because of business concern needs.

"We want to have our party reflect the local statistics as it helps to serve the customers better." said George McQuade, a spokesperson for Peri, in an e-mail
