IBM is prepare to ship an Android-simpatico new version of its button-based e-mail software Lotus Notes Traveler, an IBM employee spelt in a blog mailing Tuesday.
"Today, IBM is sending Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.2.1. New in this free -- theNotes Traveler client for Android OS," spelt Ed Brill, IBM's director of production management for Lotus software system, in a web log post Tuesday.
The new client affords access to e-mail, calendar and reaches on any Android interpretation 2.x-based smartphone or tablet computer, Brill wrote.
There is however one trouble: It can't be installed on mechanical man-based twists from AT&T, due to the fact that AT&T only appropriates applications to be installed from the Android market. But the wheeler dealer has indicated it will have a result available in early next year, allowing to Brill.
