The D-Sub port that gives analogue VGA connectivity on PCs might have been around for a major long time but it appear like its days are numbered at last AMD Dell Intel Lenovo LG view and Samsung have matter a combined statement pledging to quit the port in favor of newbie digital outputs.
The firms which represent both PC and display producer have announced that they carry the intention of phasing out support for VGA output in favor of HDMI and the rising popular DisplayPort interfaces.
Moreover Intel and AMD both producer of design chips for both mainstream and studded applications have put a thinline on their views by 2015, VGA and LVDS will no longer be supported in any of their products.
While major customer won't be put out by the little of LVDS Low Voltage Differential Signaling support, the loss of VGA is the stop of an period.
