AMD has promoted its new GPUs the Radeon HD 6950 and 6970 range. Targeted at enthusiasts these are the innitil video and image processors to control the chip company's Cayman architecture which permits for two design engines to work together.

Both members of the Radeon HD 6900 series family ship with a low 2GB of RAM. The 6950's clock speed quick at 800MHz with a capacity speed of 1.2GHZ while the 6970 bottom speeds are 880MHz and 1.375GHz respectively.

AMD Radeon HD 6900 range graphics looks AMD's second generation DirectX 11 able architecture latest image quality changes and up to 2GB of graphics cover buffer making it an intelligent option for gamers and enthusiasts said AMD VP and GPU general manager Matt Skynner in a statement.
