Since the beginning of 2011, Microsoft seems to be high spirited to foray into different fields.Earlier, it entered in the tablet market with a bang. Later, it also introduced the new operating system to impress the consumers. Now, the technology giant has turned the heat on the leading companies that offer CRM software. Now, you might wonder whether the company has made its presence in this sector or not. Well, the answer is affirmative. Microsoft has proudly announced the expansion of its Dynamics CRM online software. The company has now made this application available in 40 markets across the globe. With this move, it is evident that it is all set to compete with the leading companies like Salesforce.com and Oracle's CRM on Demand.
So, do you think that the company will be able to poach the clients from both these rivals? Well, you are right. Microsoft is all geared up to hunt down the customers from Salesforce.com and Oracle in order to sell its dynamics CRM online software. In this process, the company is apparently alluring the consumers with a wide range of financial incentives. The firm has announced that they will provide the new customers with promotional pricing of US$34 per user per month for the first year once they have signed up for the contract before 30th of June.
It seems Microsoft wants to win the race in any possible way. Anyway, if you check the rates of the Salesforce.com's Professional and Enterprise editions that cost $65 and $125 a month, Microsoft has a quite affordable offer to attract the potential customers. Even Oracle has a relatively expensive offer for its CRM on Demand that costs $75 per month.
That’s not it; the company has yet another scheme to entice the new customers "in most markets". It is ready to offer up to $200 per user in order to equalize the price of migrating to CRM Online. Additionally, it also ensures to provide free trials. With these practices, this multinational corporation will surely get to steal the customers of the other competitors. It will also increase the level of competition in the market.
Let’s learn something about CRM now. This online software is established on the on-premises Dynamics CRM 2011. This has been in beta for some time now. It is set to be available on shelves by Feb. 28. You can expect the final official announcement of the release by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer by next week. This tool has been developed by keeping salesperson in mind. Feature wise, it boasts Outlook and mobile capabilities that are highly essential for the salespeople in their day-to-day jobs. As Microsoft’s CRM 2011 supports on-premises deployment that is missing in Salesforce.com, it is at an advantage.
At present, the CRM Online software has hit markets like Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, Chile, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, etc.
