Microsoft has modified its Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DART) for better. Now the system will help administrators resolve any kind of difficulty in the Windows desktop from a bay of an office. It’s a very handy and time saving program that can bring joy for entrepreneurs who are conscious about time and production and don’t like to put their work at halt.

Niamh Coleman, senior product manager at Microsoft, mentioned that these advance DART features will let IT professionals and engineers to detect as well as repair desktop Windows computers from remote locations without being physically present in an office room. This announcement was made via a blog where an official also introduced the DART Beta version7.

Fundamentally, the DART is a set of administrative tools used to resolve defects in the Windows desktop. The dead computers or desktops that are non-bootable get a set of commands through this system to boot differently other than routine windows session. With its unique crash analyzer feature, exact faulty points are highlighted and improved by the administrators. The system also offers a feature through which the system can be restored to its previous operating state.

Though the DART system, users are given access to boot directly through the DART without following the normal Windows routine. And as the system boots via DART, a user can hand over the control and authority to the network administrator to let him work on the problem. This system is really a boon for computer professionals who have to handle lots of responsibilities and attend the problems of several clients facing system problems.

The advanced version of the system also gives other kinds of choices to load the DART image into your system. It can be possible through external hard disk drives or USB flash drives. It can run on any network through the protocol (PXE network boot). It can also be enabled through the local Hard Disk Drive, similar to the recovery of the standard Windows partition. Undoubtedly, sorting out system problems would be much faster and easier.

The DART is a branch of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) which is also a set of desktop management tools specifically for enterprise administrators. The MDOP is proffered as an additional choice to the users of Windows Intune, which is the Microsoft’s desktop management service. This will definitely help computer users sort out complex problems in their system and have a complete peace of mind.

At present the DART is available in its Beta version for online users. The complete version of the system will be launched along with the MDOP which is estimated to be released sometime in the second half of this year, third quarter to be more precise. The existing users of the MDOP will get their system updated automatically with this feature as and when the official version will be accessible ubiquitously for online users.
