The latest buzz in the technology worldconfirms the partnership of Dell with Netuitive. Dell’s newpartner, Netuitive specializes as a developer of analytics softwarewhich is used to manage virtual infrastructure.The biggest confrontation regarding theusage of virtual infrastructure is its reliance on the variousdifferent components of the system, which makes the administration ofthe system an intricate affair.

The software developed by Netuitive isused to develop a database about the various attributes ofinfrastructure, and is thus further used to develop an overallpicture of the real state of the organization. Besides, it is alsoused to identify the key problem areas present in the system.According to the company, their software will act as a milestone tothe self-learning capabilities of the system.

The Virtual Integrated System or VISwas developed by Dell in 2010 and since then has made numerousimprovements in it through collating with technology partners. Thiscan easily be figured out as the Dell’s strategy to move into muchprofitable areas besides PC sales.VIS is a combination of numeroussoftware products which are specifically designed to furnish theneeds of systems like servers, networks and storage gear. VIS hasallied with Cisco for Unified Computing System and HP for BladeSystem Matrix. The blade system matrix has been recently renamed asCloud System matrix.

According to Dell, their VIS is muchbetter than other rival products as it is capable of managing itsequipments with the aid of numerous vendors. Dell agrees thatNetuitive software is the core component of their VIS and is oftenknown as the Director component of VIS. The other additive featuresof VIS are advanced infrastructure manager designed by ScalentAcquisition and Self-Service Creator while allying withDynamic Ops.

Unfortunately, Dell’s spokeswoman didnot confirm any news of the partnership between the two companies on16 June. However, analysts have been claiming about it for the pastone month.

In a research note, released by RachelChalmers of the 451 Group analysts, he quoted “Netuitive hopes thedeal will bring its predictive analytics into the mainstream of IT.”Furthermore, he added “The company's main competitors, ProactiveNetand Integrien, were acquired by BMC Software and VMware,respectively, leaving Netuitive the only remaining independentpredictive-analytics pure play.”

Roy IIIsley, analyst at Ovum believesthat the partnership will prove great for Dell and they will reapgreat benefits from it in the near future.On Ovum website IIIsley wrote that,according to Ovum behavioral analysis will be the biggest innovationin the near future in the field of infrastructure and cloudmanagement. Besides, the deal between Dell and Netuitive will profitDell majorly giving a cutting edge to VIS.Adding further, IIIsley said thatundoubtedly, Dell will have to face candidacy of other tech giants ofworld but the deal with Netuitive will prove favorable to Dell andwill surely help it in attracting a large customer base.
