Adobe has released an alpha version of the 64-bit Adobe Flash Player 10. Till now, users who ran 64-bit Linux and needed Flash support had to depend on 32¬bit emulation to run the 32-bit version of Flash on a 64-bit OS. The alpha release brings in native installation on 64-bit Linux distributions for the first time.
