dms Daemon Monitoring System is a set of utilities printed in perl and Java which supervises the workings that make up a UNIX server. This machinery may characteristically be the daemons send mail, inetd, httpd and so forth. Fundamentally if a daemon can also be seen on ps -aux command from root it can be observed with dms.
