My System:
Dell Precision 450 (RAID 0)
Video: nVidia GeForce 6200 A-LE
Monitors 1- Samsung Syncmaster 930a and 1 Hyundai B90A (Both 19")
Running: Karmic W/KDE 3.5

Problem:

It takes almost 3 boots to acquire to Get to a "Tryout" desktop where I can set up Karmic (once more).

(If I aim to direct set up my screens is gibberish - colored snow - the unchanged with the first two boots into the "tryout" desktop).

Once I have finished with the installation I Restart the PC and again get the Gibberish - so I boot into the "Recovery" area - that gives me a pleasant display on one screen (rarely mirrored on second).

So I know it’s a video driver issue. (or else at least I think so). I have tried all of the nVidia installs but not getting anyplace - have had to reinstall numerous times after loosing the desktop as well as startx function from command line. (Would slightly start clean to evade messed up files).

Did have both monitors accepted at one point but nVidia council reported Samsung as CRT 600*800 (or else regarding that) - and wouldn't let me change it. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
