Hi All,
There seem to be a somewhat bit of consumer experiencing this issue: With a fresh set up of Ubuntu 9.10 (final) (dual boot with xp on 160Gb free (non partitioned) room, the system hang up at 30% identifying file systems as well as screen is flashing with 0.5 sec intervals almost. Tried booting into live cd. Similar problem. Burned some new disks at slow speed. No development. Certainly md5 is checked as well as correct.
I downloaded 9.04 plus did a clean set up on the same system without any issue. At finish I select upgrade to 9.10 and after approx 40 minutes I have a stable working with booting 9.10.... But this shouldn't be essential.
I am on Intel platform (3.6 GHz ht with 4Gigs RAM, nvidia Quattro as well as Sata drive). Disabled/removed SCSI controller without success.
Any clues or is this a bug in the installer? Is the upgraded version of 9.10 the same to a clean 9.10?
