Default Adobe flash, Java, Ubuntu Software Centre Karmic 9.10

I have installed 9.10 karmic koala effectively generally, however, not capable to acquire flash player to work,(e.g. YouTube) asks me to acquire the flash player Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.32.18 from website downloaded as well as tried to set up Gdebi package installer.

Error: Dependency is not supportable: libnspr4-dev

Ubuntu Software Centre: Unable to update / install; gstreamer codecs; Cheese photos, webcam; thunderbird; VLC multimedia not accessible in the present data. Is the general reason, and cant set up something from the new software centre. Though this system is only 2 years old.

Is someone having related issues and or else known issues like this, with this new version, and hopefully, suggestion’s that might be capable to repair or further follow-up.

    Thank you

I recommend, you should allow the repositories that is not enabled by default (universe as well as multiverse, I guess), from the Synaptic, or else the "Software sources" option in the admin menu.

After that press the reload button in Synaptic. Now, I assume you should be competent to download the files, also from Synaptic or else the Software center itself. Also before all this please update your system, this might have several bugfixes that can resolve your problem.

    I hope this helps you.

Thank you for your answer: I went to the repositories, plus they are previously enabled green coloured, with synaptic, so i don't make out what else it would be, but i will keep trying. Thanks again,

From the Software center, search the string "Ubuntu" as well as choose the package Ubuntu-restricted-extras. It will set up a group of packages (almost 50 MB) that are essentials for exploiting multimedia resources on the web. This is the foremost package I always set up after a fresh Ubuntu installation.

In the Software center>other>Ubuntu-restricted-extras.And to be positive that you have all repos being activated system>admin<software sources>as well as confirm all below Ubuntu software apart from source with first two under updates. Reload.
