Default How to setup fresh version of nm-applet?

After my Update to 9.10 I followed to get the nm-manager functioning once more, as well as followed all the steps on the ppa-site to insert the definite repositories. But I still only can locate nm-manager version 0.7.996. How do I get it onto my system? Which of the *.deb files do I have to set up?

As you inserted the PPA and key did you run:

Sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade

    Thanks

I had not finished sudo apt-get upgrade (was not stated in the tutorial) but it did not alter the description of my nm-applet.

In the synaptic package manager there is also presently one set in the main source: libnm-glib0 newest version 0.7.1.git.5.272c6a626-0ubuntu1~nm1 if this helps no matter what.

You could download the debs into single folder and after that run:

Sudo dpkg -i *.deb; sudo apt-get -f install

Whilst the terminal is pointing in the file, this will set up the debs for you. I suppose you realize these are 32bit debs, so if you are using a 64bit Operating System, they are not for you.

You first of all shut down every application and after that rerun it, or else reboot the system.
