Default How to setup Ubuntu in drive /d

I have 80 GB hard drive, plus it include two partition drive /c as well as /d.

I want to set up Ubuntu 9.10 in drive /d. For you information Ubuntu only guides the user to set up this OS in drive /c which is similar drive with my existing Operating System.

I undertake to set physically, but I don't make out the procedure. Can someone show me to do it, if possible please add image for enhanced understanding!

    Thank you, for your help
