Thread: Movie player: sound is fine, picture is slow

I just downloaded a picture with Transmission BitTorrent Client as well as started viewing it with Movie Player the sound is excellent, but the film itself is slow as well as rough as well as WAY behind. What should I do?

Try to playback it in VLC player. You get it from VLC Software Center as well as in Synaptic.

so i went into Synaptic as well as searched for VLC - downloaded it ... and now I can’t find it. What do I do? I'm NOT awfully PC smart (not in this department anyway) so Basic English would be great.

It is most likely in Software-->Audio&Video. Or else just press Alt F2 and write in vlc.
