Thread: The synaptic manager won’t discontinue loading on startup

I personally own an HP Mini 110-1000 with the version of Ubuntu installed. Lately every time I have switched on the PC, the synaptic manager will load up on its own each time. Ive gone through all the preferences as well as so on trying to build out why its doing this currently but cannot locate whatever thing. It's a small irritation but I just want it to prevent it. Any help is extremely valued.

Can you attempt to search for any references for synaptic at Systems > Preferences > Session. If it isn't there, report here some details in relation to.

There is no preferences sector that i can locate. Mi is unusual from standard Ubuntu it only has a settings key in the top right corner but there isn’t at all preferences section.

Try searching for "start-up applications" anywhere in the settings, sorry to say i do not know its location in mi Ubuntu. If you discover it you need to look to see if synaptic package manager is in the list.

you might need to try eliminating each and every files in your ~/.config/gnome-session/saved-session or else something folder.

HEY... i located it, the startup programs were hiding in a small part which is being well-known as sessions. Fixed it although, thanks for all your assistance.
