Thread: Flash plugin wont work

I am using a Ubuntu one day the whole thing is more or less operational except when I went to bbc7 to listen to show would not run as well as I tried to load flash player 10 but I get this error note on package manager "E:The package adobe-flashplugin wishes to be reinstalled, but I can't locate an archive for it." Tried different things but cant find player to work can you help please I am a beginner to this system as well as faintly puzzled having been used to windows xp setup but I must state that this seems faster as well as simpler once I get the hang of it.

I am currently using applications like Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; RV: 1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091109 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.5

Nearly all websites supports the package "flashplugin-installer". This will download the Adobe flash player.

You can execute so throughout package management or else type on a command prompt:

$ sudo aptitude install flashplugin-installer

("$" indicating the command prompt, so you shouldn't actually type the dollar sign).
