I have upgraded to the most recent Ubuntu version, by Gnome. Currently I have no sound; the compiz features are not operational, as well as my OpenOffice is extremely "sloppy" when I scroll up or else down documents.
When I go to "hardware drivers" there is a propriety driver FGLRX for ati/amd, (I have such a card) but it is not possible to activate. I offer password and so on, but nothing take place.
Am I only with this issue? Will there be a few solutions to this trouble in the near future?
Will there be an "automatic update" for me to attach this with additional updates? As I'm not so superior with fine-tuning the computer-programs for my part, should I give up as well as move back to Vista?
I in fact liked Ubuntu before I upgraded it, it worked very well with regards.
