Thread: Upgrading Ubuntu with update-manager

Hi, I want to upgrade my Ubuntu but when im in update-manager i find the version upgrade button and the it goes through all the steps but as soon as you click the Finish button to start the allocation tool update-manager does not close up causing the update to fail. Please help me to fix this issue.

It can be completed using a cdrom (with the newest version) with: gksu "sh /cdrom/cdromupgrade"
