Thread: Booting issue

I fix computers for a living and have hit an issue. I can fix this if only I could make it boot from a CD. It has before to install Ubuntu, now i would like to put a fresh windows. CMOS/good CD/jumpers/ re-checked, advice?

Definitely you can get into Setup when you first boot the computer and adjust the boot order so that it looks for a CD first. Sure the CD that you use will have to be bootable, for example the Windows installation disc.
