Thread: How can convert Docx file to other format

I am using Microsoft word 2007 on my machine. Whenever I save the file, it saves in Docx format. But this format is not well-suited with older versions of Microsoft Word. It is also not supported by any OS like Linux or Mac OS. How can i convert this to any other file format?
