I am new to linux. I installed ubuntu server 7.1 because I already was running some ported server apps in windows beforehand on the spare desktop that now has ubuntu. It is not recognizing my wireless pci card. a hunch is that it is because it was the server install, what servers use wireless? Anyways, lspci outputs some irrelevant stuff and "04:01.0 ethernet controller: marvell technology ltd. 88w8335 [libertas] 802.11b/g wireless (rev 03)" which is right. iwconfig gives lo no wireless extensions eth0 no wireless extensions. I have no idea what to do. The card is zonet zew1692a and can be found at tigerdirect. There was an error during install about the network being configured but there wasn't anything I could do during the install. I have also asked this on the ubuntu forums.
