Thread: Using Linux as mail server

I installed Linux as OS in my system. E-mail is interaction among users best way to talk. By e-mail, Linux systems open up new space, to develop contact with others. It has proved that e-mail is utilized by many Internet applications, more than WWW. So I want to know how to use Linux as mail server. Any suggestions are respectable.

There are two types in Linux MUA and MTA. MUA used to read and write mail. MTA used to send and receive mail. Sendmail is MTA generally used.

Linux as mail server using SMTP means exchange on E-mail, so software and hardware for exchange of e-mail is not key, as these programs are appropriately applied SMTP protocol, they can exchange e-mail. So use SMTP service.
