Thread: Finding root password

I just started to learn about Linux OS, and I want to know about how to obtain root password using terminal. So please provide me any suggestions about this.

Many people obtain "distro" and every distro presents various methods to perform things. Many new distros be likely to not permit or limited access to root. Generally root commands accessed by sudo. Search for root password. There generally is default one.

It is better to try live distro first.
