    Default Linux mail server

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Linux operating system. By e-mail, Linux systems open up new space, to increase contact with others. It has proved that e-mail is utilized by a lot of Internet applications, more than WWW. So I want to know how to use Linux as mail server. If you are having any solution suggestions, then please provide that to me.

There are two types in Linux MUA and MTA. MUA used to read and write mail. MTA used to send and receive mail. Send mail is MTA normally used.
