    Default partition issues

    Hello everyone

    I have a desktop computer a bit dated but I tried to put Ubuntu is heavy for him ... just can not do it. I would then format and put xubuntu. I also have xp on the pc, how do I format it correctly and to create two partitions? thanks

    We do not runs XP and Ubuntu running? Strange! However, if you really want something light I suggest Lubuntu 10.10, Xubuntu uses virtually the same resources as Ubuntu. In any case, once you've armed with a CD or USB containing the operating system, the installation operation will automatically lead to the creation of partitions needed to integrate the two operating systems.
