Thread: I ran Linux Mint 10 for a while running Windows application

Hello friends,I have a double boot system, I have upgraded system in my computer one is Windows 7 and the other is Linux Min10 version. Can someone please tell the basic things about the dual boot or point me to a good link on how to dual boot. I feel this is so that one can transfer between peforming Windows applications and Linux after booting up.

I know you are discussing about 2 different things here. If you are talking about a dual boot with windows and Linux then if you have both operating systems on the computer itself then you will need GRUB installed. If are performing Windows at one instant then you can install Linux and it will upgraded Grub without your or anyone’s intervention. I know you can also make the use of Wine.

You will need to use Wubi if you do not require any alterations in the segment structure because in linux_0 you can only make 4 main segment. This is quite straightforward.
