Thread: Linux build fails with segment error.

Hello Friends,I am formulating on a MAC with edition 2009r5. I have a application that works on MAC and Wins but not Linux. So I construct a easy app this also goes wrong to work on Linux. My Linux set is Ubuntu 9.04.When I work MyApplication it leaves with a segment wrong. The bankruptcy is in the dynamic load library ld-linux.so.2 . If I work ldd on MyApplication this also goes wrong with a segment. If I understand the elf information nothing of the library identifyes are settle.Any suggestion where the lib data is or why its wrong??

Today I appeared above an hour why an application blocked to work on a linux syatem just to view that I uploaded it with FTP in ASCII mode rather of Binary, which spoilt the app.

Thanks,Ne'er presume, I am humiliated. I zipped up the free and shifted the register and it operates. My Linux sets works vsftp and I conceived the binary mode was pushed still when questing ASCII.Thank you for the assists.
