Thread: Choosing a distro

It was not a very difficult task for me to choose Ubuntu for this article. Since I am planning to address the widest audience, I just had to pick up the most popular distro currently. Though this distro is not very good in performance aspects (as compared to something like Arch Linux or Gentoo), the vast repositories, great community support, compatibility for a lot more hardware, cutting-edge software, ease of use and a whole lot of other advantages made it an inevitable decision.
