Thread: How can I import this in Thunderbird?

Hey Friends,I have been using Linux for the past few months. I would like to thank LFY for introducing me to Linux. I have installed openSUSE and am using Thunderbird as my e-mail client. A few days back, one of my friends sent me his address book in the .WAB format.

Hello Friends,The address book file that you have mentioned is of Outlook Express. This cannot be imported directly into Thunderbird. One thing that you can do is to open the file in any system that has Outlook Express installed and then export it in the 'csv' format, from which Thunderbird can easily import addresses. All you have to do is: open the Thunderbird application and click on Tools --> Import --> Text File. Select' Address Book' and then browse for the 'csv' file to }be imported.
