Thread: Set up of Linux with Intel core i3 processor.

Hi,i came across many quarry when I was set up the Linux operating system in the machine. I have a Toshiba a505 4 GB of ram and an intel core i3 processor available in it. I tested Ubuntu minus set up but it was not operating in it, also I have try to set up centos and when I switch on the machine, the grub looks seeing centos and windows7 but when I choice the Linux running system it just give a black screen.

I guess the major trouble is in the set up of the linux is not been finish in a right was which is making the trouble, you say that the Linux was not set up in the machine of yours, so the trouble is in the running system that you are utilizing to operate in the machine, I will suggest that you just go with something more which will assist in working the operating system of the linux in a right way.

Thanks for the response that you have given me in this reply, I think the trouble is in my machine, I am telling this since the fault was accuring in the other running system, like I have seen that by testing the karmic koala ubuntu 9.10 and also the hardy heron but nor of them was running for me in the machine.

I guess the trouble is in the selection of the running system by you, I guess that you are selecting the running system which is having few of the trouble in it, also there is a potential that there is few fault while you are operating the linux operating system in the machine, I desired to ask that have you tested set up the Fedora 12 running system ,I was also having this trouble but it was eliminated with the assist of the Fedora 12,

I downloaded the fedora 12 that you have say me to do and also it assist in coming out of the trouble that was accuring to you, I convert it in to a live CD, but after the appearance of the blue screen I was getting the Black screen and giving the similar fault in it. The point I notice in the net is that it has told me to do download ubuntu 9.04 so I am correct now downloading it I am holding my finger crossed which will assist me in getting the thing correct.
