    Default How to get subsisting Linux set up from the one computer to boot from another?

    I am having Dell Precision 690 on which I have made dual boot install with Windows XP and CentOS 5.5. both the OS are set up on the duol unlike repel on the machine. I have apply the Linux repel on the fresh HP Z800 workstation to boot the pc. Still it did not operate at entire. I am obtaining an fault content on the screen while doing the simlar. Let me know if you are having any specific answer to get the requirement of mine.

    You have not given anything which is linked with the trouble which you are obtaining on the machine of yours. Can you post the total fault content which you are obtaining as doing the above observed thing. Let me recognize about the Grub menu of the system of yours.     Another one thing which I would like that you may required to edit the /boot/grub/grub.conf and apply the interactive Grub at the time of the booting of the command. The Linux is set up on the second disk and map the duol commands by swap hd0 and hd1. Therefore the booting of the machine becomes unannounced. If the disk is first one then the kernel, initrd and /etc/fstab would refer the disk by /dev/sda*.
