Default Ineffective to Install Linux (Kubuntu) on aurora m9700.

I have to install kubuntu on my Windows XP that sits on my m9700.My difficulty is that you can not install the simple reason that goes off during the installation process as the CPU overheats. The strange thing is that this only happens during the installation of Linux. I am able to run things stress approaches the first of 2004 and other stress tests of the CPU very well for a few minutes without getting anywhere near the CPU overheating.

Hi, thanks for raising this issue. I am facing same problem with my notebook friends. I can not install kubuntu on my system because overheating issue. I try to find online, but can not resolve this. I previously tried to install sensors and temperature sensor senses but not the fan, I doubt that the fan is essentially what it is.

Same problem with my laptop. I tried knoppix and everything is fine, but burnK7 works very well for some time. Later, it seems that somehow associated with kubuntu, it may not be familiar to fans properly or something? Or the temperature readings are inaccurate at present? I am not able to understand what evil is. I am of ideas now, after the implementation of all these options without success yet.

It sounds similar to one a couple of likely problems, difficult to be aware of not running on your computer. This is a kernel module not loaded or does not pass the right choice for the boot loader to the sensors I am or what is used today does not load correctly, is that power management is not configured correctly, I'm sure there are others I can think of right now.

Hi thanks for your response to my query. I have found that power management on my laptop has a different behavior depending on if I suspend the laptop or not, before stopping the cooling fan and the laptop runs hotter, if you suspend and then resume the fan will run more frequency and maintaining the cooler. I have no idea why, but there are others experiencing the same behavior and the time it works.
