Default Most dependable Linux distribution for web developers

The time now is part of the process of using a Mac, my major because the system is returned to the house, (which is a Windows machine) and I would like to dig Unix / Linux, I can not prove to be a result of continuous technological knowledge, making use of Linux commands and complex other advanced programming and what not. Now, can someone tell me what is the best and the best Linux distribution for Web developers or development? As I am a web programmer I want to know.

The differences between the distributions come with the addition of another software installation and administration, technical support. It is difficult to estimate this value and the distribution can be considered better than the other because each has a number of traits that characterize it. If you need to run a web server or run a cable connection, the best choice is Debian, well cared for with respect to its security and easy to upgrade the network with a few simple commands.

So if you're latest to the field of Linux, I can put your heart into Ubuntu. It is simple to set up and all beginners. With "apt-get set up" you can rapidly set up all you require for web development. JEdit SVN, Eclipse, Apache, MySQL, etc.I enjoy operating with, although I would not set up on a server. If a server I would utilize Debian because they have as soon view that, for security holes and other Ubuntu is much slower.

Many companies will unfortunately continue to Windows. Personally, I use Fedora. 9 At home, the office 8th Personally, I find it interesting to CentOS, the server and the desktop (although the latter now Fedora is the system of my choice) because, as an OS company, a longer life Fedora. The disadvantage is that in Debian, the software may not be as current as is the case with Fedora or Ubuntu. But the software for it is better to test with cutting-edge distributions.

I must say that can be used as a development environment, essentially any Linux, and the choice in this case probably should mainly rely on their experience with Linux. If you are new to Linux and Fedora, OpenSuse or Ubuntu (which I strongly recommend Suse graduate?), Including CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise must be difficult to use than these three. Especially as Fedora, CentOS and Red Hat are not different in size, the transition is from one to another system is not as difficult. It is worth mentioning that while Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a burden, as it is, of course, Suse Enterprise, still not very different from OpenSuse.
