Default Linux and Windows single drive: Virus from one partition to another

Is this possible? Can a virus, trojan or any other derivative OS hosted in a windows or linux either infect the OS hosted on another partition?

If the virus is in Windows (which is most likely), can hardly catch it from Linux and Windows can not see the Linux partitions. Not to mention that I doubt that a virus designed for Windows can run on Linux. Bye

In theory it could happen, but since when accessing windows partition from linux is done as normal user, and as in linux "almost" no virus, the risk is very unlikely. What it can happen is that you download any mail, file, script, etc. that have some stupid, designed for Windows, you will not know linux, and is not affected, but if you go into Windows and run that file is another matter

While the partitions you have, Windows can read, you may be able to infect those partitions. But all this, if you pass over before the whole disk the virus and remove viruses you may have. Greetings.
