Thread: One TB hard drive partition in Ubuntu.

Hello all, I have a pc where you only want to install Ubuntu on a 1TB hard drive. I wonder if I make 3 partitions such as:
/ 100Gb Swap 8GB (I have 4GB of RAM) / Home Remaining space.
Or rather it would be advisable to make a fourth for / boot. Where do / boot I devote much space?

With 4 GB swap spare you (perhaps too much, but they recommend the same amount of ram k), and the rest as you say. I would not do To boot partition.
