GFTP is a no cost multithreaded ftp customer for *NIX centered models managing X11R6 or later. It has the following features:

GTK+ 1.2.3 or greater. GTK+/Glib is involved with most techniques now. If you don't have it set up, you may want to have a look at to see if your source has a bundle available. If not, you can obtain the newest edition of GTK+ and Glib from ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk. gFTP function with edition 1.2 or 2.x of GTK+, I would recommend using GTK+ 2.x, but the installation of GTK+ 2.x does need the installation of more offers onto your program.

If you don't have it set up, you may want to have a look at to see if your source has a bundle available. If you have a libc6 centered device (Debian 2.x, Red Hat 5.x+), you should already have the pthread your local collection set up. If you have a libc5 centered device, you will need to set up LinuxThreads. You can obtain it from my web page here. If you are managing a very modern Linux distribution, this shouldn't be a problem. Also, if you don't have LinuxThreads set up, you most likely don't have place secure X your local collection. You must have place secure X your local collection or gFTP will regularly collision.
