Thread: Linux commands - an introduction

We want to show that her work is not so difficult - is even more efficient than using the often not fully correct functioning of graphical frontends in which the work is less productive.
The series will be put together from chaotic or perhaps alphabetically arranged orders, but it will be logically divided into several related areas such as: user administration, basic file management, archiving, etc.


In describing the commands do not want to strive for a detailed description, or perhaps even a literal translation of man pages. Rather, we want to emphasize the individual orders of their most frequently used options. Just as examples for each command that will not be a contrived, but will reflect the practical experience.


Uncommon in practice only rarely used command parameters can be found in every man pages. I work with the command man , serving to guide man pages, in any part of the opening appears, so the man pages to learn how to work on anyone.




I would like to also invite our regular authors, or even a whole new beginning to the writing of this series also joined because I believe that they must find some area commands that need to use every day and whose basic syntax is so much well known.
