    Default Linux - Synchronization

Good evening, I want to realize the following: My music is to be synchronized. Simply, only all the data from the A folder on the hard disk to be synchronized to Folder B. All data that are on B, but not on A, should be deleted. I have about 40 GB of files. If this occurs, a file comparison, the entire story takes about half an hour. The program is really just see if there are any files on B, it is not on A, and delete these files, which are not available on A to B but to copy.

Rsync would be interesting for you, the option or parameter is - delete, here you should change your best (or I'm feeling lucky ) Previously read the manual page.

Great program, thanks! rsync-a-v-P - delete / home / heisenberg / Music '' / media / PENDRIVE / Music. Have Let through the on like that. But also takes forever. The scans every time the complete file, always take the 4-5 seconds. Did the same with - size-only tried, but nothing changes the fact that he reads all the time. In the 2000 songs that are two and a half hours. Edit: perfect! He had to throw down on it and pull everything once again, because I had taken the data on it before my last system build.
