Ubuntu 11:04 problem Hey guys, I'm on my laptop next to windows 7 now also installed ubuntu 11.04. but now I can not start OS anymore because of the above-mentioned error occurs. Meanwhile I am, thanks again windows CD into linux and windows. However, I'm afraid that the error occurs again. I think it's because I've installed both Os' on a partition. This I've only done because linus on my second Partition to install somehow does not let. What can you advise me what I do now mahcne to both Os' use it without problems?

Both are on one partition can not go well, you've probably wrecked your system now ... You have one in the installer ext4 partition with the mount point "/" and create a swap partition, optionally, have a home partition.Partitions created in Windows do not work.

First Right. Windows uses NTFS as the file system and Linux (mostly) ext4. The partitions you need to create the Ubuntu installer. Second No idea is a mystery to me how you've both got to a partition. That's not really possible unless you use Wubi.

So at the moment is everything. Can I install linux on the partition is not that I have created windows with''''? Second How can I completely remove linux without deleting Windows?
